Once Upon a Time, Flying was Always First Class

Many of us probably don’t remember the days when flying was a glamorous way to travel. With the cramped seating and economy-style flying we experience today it’s easy to forget that once upon a time flying was fun!

Life.com has released a series of photographs showing us the long past glamorous world of flying. The images reminds us of a time when it was all white-glove service, gourmet food, and spacious seating.  It notes change from when flying was something you dressed up to do to now, when you generally see people dressed as comfortably as possible.

While the glamor of yesterday’s flying is something to miss, the availability and reduced expense is something we can all appreciate now. When you fly do you dress for comfort or do you dress to impress?
