I know you’ve heard the adage, ‘watch what you eat’.  That can be hard to do when you have to balance attending class, studying, writing papers and managing the all-important college social life!  Don’t let the “Freshman 15″ (or as I affectionately call it the “College 15, 20, or 30″) get you!

How do you avoid that?  Do you carry around a food journal all day?  Do you commit every bite to memory?

Check out DailyPlate!

I strive to ‘watch what I eat’, but by the end of the day I’ve forgotten about that afternoon Snickers I ate. Eeeek!

In addition to exercising, keeping a food log is a healthy practice.  Don’t worry about carrying around that food journal, there’s a fantastic website to aide you called TheDailyPlate.  It’s the perfect way to keep track of your eating from the comfort of your apartment at The Verge!

The DailyPlate is“the easy, FREE way to track what you’re eating each day”.

Whether your goal is to maintain your current weight or to shed a few pounds, this is a simple, accurate and ‘green’ (paperless) way to track your caloric and nutritional intake!

Have you ever kept a food journal?
