You have signed your new lease.  Now the only thing left is the part that everyone hates, moving.  There are many things that you can do to soften the blow.  First,  start packing the things that you have around your house that you do not use often a few weeks in advance.  Second, start boxing up the little things that are annoying and that will bother you on moving day.  This will allow you to focus primarily on the big items that need to be moved.  CAUTION:  Make sure that you reserve a truck early!! Not only will this allow you to work the management for the price, but it will prevent a blinding headache if you wait until the last day and they do not have anything available!!!  This has happened to several people that I know.  It is not a fun sight, trust me on this. Remember to situate everything before you go.  Try your hardest to get everything in the new place on the first day, it will make you much, much happier!!!
