You probably don’t know the Smothers Brothers.  To be honest, they were a little before my time. I know who they are and I know their faces. What I didn’t know was their story. Tommy and Dick Smothers story is greatly unheard of in my generation, but it is a interesting story to read. Dangerously Funny: The Uncensored Story of the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour by David Bianculli is a great read.
