If you haven’t had Only Burger before, you’re really missing out! This mobile burgery serves up fresh/never frozen made-to-order burgers and fries! (You’ll even find breakfast burgers on the menu!)

A Great Reason To Visit the Durham Farmers Market
Posted on July 23, 2010 · Leave a CommentYes…the Durham Farmers Market is just that GREAT…I can’t stop talking about it! If you haven’t been to the Durham Farmers Market this season, I’ve found a great reason for you to go…so you can pick up these ingredients so you can make this yummy Tomato and Mint Salad I found on the Durham Farmers Market website!
Ingredients:
- 1 large ripe tomato, seeded and diced (about 3/4 cup)
- 1/2 cucumber, seeded and diced (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 Tbsp minced red onion
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 10 leaves fresh mint, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions: Toss together and refrigerate 1/2 hour to blend flavors.
The farmers market takes place every Wednesday from 3:30pm – 6:30pm and each Saturday from 8am -noon at the Pavilion in Durham Central Park in downtown Durham.

The event is presented by the Bull City Street Rod Association and is located in the parking log of Chick-fil-a and Goodberrys Creamery at 3912 N. Roxboro Road.

Bulls Back in Durham

Not going to be able to make it out to the ball park tonight? Again…no biggie! The Bulls will play the Columbus Clippers for another homestand next week on July 19th – 22nd. Get your tickets and the game details.

Posted on July 9, 2010 · Leave a CommentHe’s hilarious, he’s witty, he’s one of my favorite actors….he’s Steve Carell! He’s so super funny in ‘The Office’ tv series and equally as hilarious in ‘Evan Almighty’.
Now he’s the voice of the lead villainous character, Gru in the animated film, ‘Despicable Me’, which hits theaters on Friday, July 9th!
Don’t be dismayed; his character is actually a funny villain! Watch the trailer and check out local movie times.

Durham Independence Day Celebration

Hoping to see some fireworks this Independence Day weekend?
Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Sunday evening. The doors will open (for free admission) after the seventh inning (around 8pm) and the fireworks will begin at 10pm.
